WUMB’s Blues Music Camp offers a full weekend of classes and workshops exploring a wide range of blues styles and forms, from guitar to harmonica to vocal and ensemble-playing. We’ve invited some of the best blues and roots musicians in New England – and beyond – to share their expertise and insights.
Come enjoy a weekend filled with intensive instruction, jamming, workshops, concerts, an open mic, and musical collaboration. Instructors are attuned to the needs of each student – from elementary to advanced – so bring your instrument, an open mind, and join in!

Weather and Environment:
Prepare for fall/winter weather, so bring layers as well as sturdy shoes or boots! All of the cabins have heat and hot water, so you’ll be cozy inside. The camp is located in the beautiful Groton forest by a lake, so be ready to get outdoorsy. The ground can be uneven and, if it snows, pretty slippery, so be careful of your surroundings.
