This class will be geared towards the experienced guitarists among us who have played some gigs, already know more than just basic chord forms, can play some single note lines when they’re needed, and never have touched a brown M&M for their entire careers. We will have a relaxed but challenging week of exploring soloing concepts, using the flatpicking guitar style to expand choices, maybe play a little Gypsy Jazz or swing style tunes(!) which require a touch more than the intro to Johnny B. Goode (which, of course as we all know, is no small trick in itself!) and generally take the guitaristic experience up a notch or two and challenge the more experienced players. I’m looking forward to it.
