The harmonica is a unique instrument, but like all instruments, a solid foundation of technique will set you up for success! This class will focus on the beginning basics of learning how to play in the classic Blues style of I-IV-V. Students will learn how to hold the harp, how to make note bends, how to play in first & second positions, utilize chord rhythms, tongue blocking and more.
Please bring a harmonica in the key of A (ideally Special 20, Lee Oskar, or Marine Band).
