DOLLY PARTON that is! Dolly was probably my first, and is my biggest influence. She has ALL the BASICS down – not always fancy, but good rhymes and singable melodies that carry the lyrics. Often when I’m stuck, especially with lyrics, I’ll think, “what would Dolly do?” Bring a song of yours to class that could use a little help and inspiration from Dolly to become the song it was meant to be!
