This lovely little instrument can be simple accompaniment to singing with a few basic chords, or it can embellish tunes with melodic detail, intricate picking and stylistic ornamentation. We will brush up on how to hold your instrument, basic left- and right-hand techniques, and how to accompany other instruments in a band setting. Tunes and songs from a wide variety of styles will be introduced. This instrument is so much fun to play – Ssshhhhh! Don’t tell anyone!
