Thumbpicking is a type of fingerstyle guitar playing that was made popular by the great Merle Travis. This thumbpicking class will cover many different ideals in thumbpicking, and incorporate different songs into this style. A background in fingerstyle would be a great advantage for this class. We will work on developing the thumbpicking rhythm, Travis-style chords, and some great old tunes.
