In this performance workshop we’ll develop the skills you need to deliver a compelling, confident performance onstage. We’ll talk about pre-performance rituals, introducing songs and delivering stage banter, and of course, delivering the song itself! Whether you suffer from stage fright, you’re an experienced performer looking for some tips, or you’re excited about getting onstage but just need a bit of a push, this class is for you! The class format will be a combination of discussion and student performances with Q&A/feedback. No one will be required to perform, but all are strongly encouraged to perform — original songs, traditional songs, fiddle tunes, and covers are all welcome, and feedback will be constructive and supportive!
