Smaller than a ukulele, but able to conjure up the sounds of a roaring locomotive, the harmonica offers a world of music that you can fit in your pocket. This class will cover breathing and hand techniques to coax out the best sounds, an introduction to straight harp and major key melodies, a train song, and an introduction to cross harp.
Please acquire two harmonicas in the keys of C and A. I would recommend the Hohner Special 20 or Lee Oskar. (Make sure it is a diatonic harmonica and not a special tuning, tremolo, or chromatic harp.)
