Consisting of 7,640-ish islands and 187-ish languages, the Philippines has quite the halo-halo, or mixture, of cultures. It might also surprise you to know there are a goodly number of tunes out there that sit quite well on your instrument or vocables of choice. As your resident Filipino staff member, in this two-session class I’ll give an abbreviated folk music tour of the country, and we’ll learn to play and sing, too!
